❸ - Waterlines   

This project is a continuation of the project started in 2017 during my last year of studies. An exciting opportunity arose when I was asked to develop a project within one of the existing underground galleries of Madrid.

The project aims to reclaim and recover that hidden reality, bringing it back to the current urban fabric of the city as a new urban space. To achieve this, the project proposes a new access through a narrow and delicate stair that dialogues with the ancient matter.

The project is ruled by a precise geometry that is linked to the existing surroundings and the underground spaces, creating a fissure that allows us to perceive and appreciate the history of the city.
